Timing is Everything!

timingSomeone said, “Timing is everything.”

In fact, Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 3:1 “There is a time for everything under the sun.”

The key is knowing the right time to speak and the right way to say it.

Today’s word is timing.

For instance, when I said to the young man, “Is this your mother with you?” He angrily responded, “No, that’s my wife!” That is definitely the wrong way. (I’m such an idiot)

In order to make your life, marriage and relationships better. You need to know when to say, “Yes,” and when to say, “No,” and know how to say it.

Your “yes” can be “yes,” but with certain conditions. Your “no” can be “no, not now, but maybe in the future.” But either way, your words and your answers need to spoken in love and in consideration of how they impact others’ lives and your own.

You have just as much right and responsibility to say “no” as you do to say “yes.”

You are the one God has entrusted with your own personal dreams. So you must know that not every request, demand or opportunity is yours to embrace.

Learn to evaluate each activity in your life as it relates to your personal and family dreams and values. Some things are simply distractions. Others may be God-given divine opportunities. Ask God to show you the difference.

Learning when to say yes, no and how to say it, will make your life better.
