Delete…delete…delete…

deleteDoes anyone else spend more time than you prefer sifting through junk emails? It seems like I spend more time deleting emails, that I have no idea how I got on their mailing list, than actually reading emails that I want.

I’m pretty sure that I delete good emails every now and then, as I am going down the list hitting delete…delete…delete…

Check out this definition of sift;

Sift– “an act of sifting something, especially so as to isolate that which is most important or useful.”

I’m pretty sure that’s what satan was intending to do, when Jesus said the following…

Luke 22:31-32 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you,”

Satan wanted to isolate the disciples and satan wants to isolate you, because you are “most important and useful.”

If satan can isolate you, then he can make you feel like you are not welcome, worthy or wanted. Remember, everything that satan says is a lie. He can’t speak the truth.

But just as Jesus prayed for His disciples, I am praying for you.

The word of the day is sift. Make sure you are “sifting” the bad and not the good in your life.
