Giving thanks often comes during our times of reflection, when we are alone with God. That’s good. But what I hope is happening as you continue on this journey of the 21 Days of Thanksgiving, is that your thanksgiving is becoming more evident in every area of your life. I want us all to learn to be more expressive and intentional about giving thanks in all circumstances.
Today’s Scripture: Psalm 9:11 (NLT) “Sing praises to the Lord who reigns in Jerusalem. Tell the world about his unforgettable deeds.”
Today’s Challenge: Tell someone how awesome God is.
Here is a perfect way to segue’ right into it.
When someone asks you, “How are today?” You can respond with, “I’m doing great because…
…God has given me another day to live.” Or,
…God has given me another chance.” Or,
…God is good.” Or,
…God didn’t give me what I deserved.” Or,
…God is awesome.”
Take the opportunity to Give praises to God and tell the world about his unforgettable deeds. You don’t have to hit someone over the head with a Bible to be a witness.
Someone needs to hear about how good God is today.
