Restoration

restorationRestoration is the word of the day.

My two brothers and I were red blooded American boys. We loved to play football and beat up on each other. Many times things would get broken. I once put my foot through the wall in the bedroom, leaving a big hole, while doing flips from the top bunk to a twin bed below. I tried to cover it up with a picture from Sunday School class. My parents were so proud of me for hanging that picture up on the wall. My plan was working fine until one of my brothers ratted me out. But that’s another story.

The fact is, things get broken in life. Sometimes it’s our heart that gets broken. But over time and through much effort, God can heal our hearts.

This is exactly what Jesus said He came to do.

Isaiah 61:1 “He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,”

Speak the word of restoration and healing over your life and family today. Our circumstances may be different, our pain may be different, but the healer is the same. The restorer is the same. His name is Jesus. He has come to heal your broken heart. He has come to make you better. Let him do that today.
