Let Freedom Ring!

Freedom 2The Fourth of July is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from Great Britain. Commonly known as Independence Day. It is a day to celebrate Freedom. That’s why freedom is the word of the day.

Who can forget the movie Braveheart, when William Wallace declared Freedooooom?

“They may take our lives, but they’ll never take our Freedom.” William Wallace

I love the word freedom. That’s why we named our church Freedom. Our mission is to Help People Find Freedom. Freedom begins with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. There is no greater freedom than to be freed from the penalty of sin. Thank you Jesus!

I love the quote from Victor Frankl; “Everything can be taken from a man, but one thing, the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” Victor Frankl- Author of “Man’s Search for Meaning”

freedom 3You can never control what happens to you. But you can control your attitude about what happens to you. Therefore, you can master your circumstances, instead of letting your circumstances master you.

The only difference between a good day and a bad day is your attitude. This is your choice. It is your freedom.

Use the freedom that you have to do something positive. Use your freedom to make your life and others better. Use your freedom to make your marriage and family better.

Galatians 5:13 “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.”

This scripture says, use your freedom to serve others.

Think about it, we have been given a beautiful gift of freedom. Use it for good, today.freedom-in-christ1
