21 Days of Thanksgiving- Day 7

I believe that people who give thanks on a continual and in a consistent measure are better able to handle stressful situations and better able to reach their goals. Gratitude puts you in the mindset that is necessary to be a winner, not a whiner.

While giving thanks, people acknowledge the good things in their life. In doing so, they usually recognize the source of every good and perfect gift, God.

Today’s Scripture: Psalm 9:1 “I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.”

As you meditate on this scripture today, ask yourself if you have really given thanks with your whole heart? What does it mean to give thanks with your whole heart? Recount all of the wonderful deeds of God in your life. This would be a great exercise as well. Write down all of the wonderful deeds that God has done for you. Take time and thank God for each one. (See you next year)

Today’s Challenge: Thank your best friend. Thank the person who has walked in when everyone else walked out. Thank the one who has loved and supported you in spite of your weaknesses and mistakes. Thank them for holding you up and having your back. I’m talking about the person that you are able to have those conversations with that if someone overheard you, you would probably be put in a mental hospital. Yeah, that friend.
