What’s your value?

increaseThe word of the day is value.

I want to challenge you to add value everywhere you go.

Add value to your team. Add value to your family. Add value to your job. Add value to the world you live in.

Make a difference in your world, one thought at a time, one word at a time, one person at a time.

Be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody.

Too often, we are more focused on ourselves and what we are going to get out of any given situation. Rather than approaching anything or anyone wondering what‘s in it for you, approach it with the attitude of how you can make it better for others.

Let me ask you a question. Do you ever feel emotionally drained, physically exhausted and mentally depleted after being around certain people? If the person that you are thinking of right now is sitting next to you. Don’t look their way. Don’t look up. Just keep your head down and finish reading this.

There are some people that we allow in our lives that only make withdrawals from the relationship. They make no deposits or add no value. Don’t be that person.

Make deposits everywhere you go rather than withdrawals.

In doing this alone, you will activate the law of sowing a reaping and you will not have enough room to contain all the blessings and benefits that will come back to you.

Galatians 6:9 (NLT)”So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

Seven ways to add value to others:

  1. Tell them how much you value them.
  2. Show them by doing something for them.
  3. Thank you notes.
  4. Email them.
  5. Acknowledge them publicly.
  6. Spend time with them.
  7. Introduce them to others.

Add value wherever you go, it will make your life better.
