21 Days of Thanksgiving- Day 16

If your home is broken into, who are you going to call? The police.

If your house is on fire, who are you going to call? The firemen.

If you are having a heart attack, who are you going to call? Paramedic or E.M.T.

If you are feeling sick, who are you going to call? Your doctor.

So often we forget that when catastrophe hits our life, we always have someone who we will call. Hopefully you will never need any of those professionals. But they are constantly serving our community each and every day.

Today’s Scripture: Ephesians 5:20 ”Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,”

Today’s Challenge: I want to encourage you to go out of your way to thank a First Responder. First responders typically include police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency medical technicians. Thank a doctor or a nurse or hospital employee. Do you have a doctor who has saved your life or provided preventative care that has kept you healthy? Find a way to thank them.

As our scripture of the day says, Giving thanks always and for everything…

Stay Thankful,

Kendall Bridges
