Many people are taught that good deeds can make right, a lifetime of wickedness.
So people do acts of kindness, and give money and volunteer for organizations, thinking that if they do something good for someone else that it will make up for the past sins.
Some think God is keeping score and how could a loving God send a man who does good deeds to hell, especially if his sins are not hurting anyone but himself.
The sad reality of so many people is, they spend the rest of their lives trying to be good enough to make up for a lifetime of wickedness. But we are all born as sinners, needing a savior.
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
So we have all sinned and the payment for that is, death……But wait…..

Romans 6:23 says, the wages of sin is death….but wait….the gift of God is eternal life.
Wow, what a contrast! What a turnaround!
The gift of God is eternal life, in other words, you don’t have to die. You can have eternal life instead.
The word of the day is turn-around. You can have a turn-around when you follow Jesus. In fact, following Jesus is simply that, a turn-around. Turning around and going the opposite direction. I’m glad I had a turn-around. How about you?
