Starla and I recently had all of our children and grandchildren with us at our house. It was interesting to me, as the grandkids were swimming and playing and chasing and fighting and laughing and fighting and eating and…you guessed it, fighting, ha! I don’t suspect that they fought any more than any other cousins fight with each other and then in the next instant cry, because the same cousin they were just fighting with has to leave and go home.
Isn’t that just like us all? We fight with the ones that we love the most. I want to challenge you to treat the ones you love the most, with most love. Treat the ones you care about most, with the most care. Treat the ones you treasure the most, as the greatest treasure.
Don’t take the most precious people in our lives for granted. Be thankful for every single day that God has given us all together. All it takes is for one of these precious people in our lives to be taken from us, for us to realize, we should have spent more time loving than fighting.
1 John 4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
The word of the day is, love one another.
