The sun will rise!

riseI remember waking up one morning before dawn and I walked outside to read my Bible and pray. I waited long enough to see the sun rise.

It wasn’t much different from any other day. There wasn’t anything spectacular about this particular sunrise. But there was a voice that I heard speaking to me in my spirit that day. I heard the voice say, “The sun will rise again.”

I contemplated what that meant for me that day. You see, there was a time in our marriage when we were asking each other the question, “Can we get through this dark time and rebuild our marriage, or would it just be best for us to go our separate ways?

That’s when I heard it again. “The sun will rise again.”

I asked the Lord, “What are you trying to say to me today? Here is what He said, “As sure as the sun will rise again, (and it did) the darkness will lift, and the sun will rise on this dark night of your life.”

That’s all I needed.

Every day since then, when the sun comes up in the morning, it’s a promise to me that God’s plan of restoring a marriage is bigger than the devils plan to destroy it.

The word of the day is rise. I declare to you today that regardless of what you are facing, if you will put your trust in the Lord, He will cause the sun to rise on your dark night.

Malachi 4:2 (NLT) “But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings.”

Turn your face to the SON and all of the shadows fall behind you.
