Listen!
The word of the day is listen!
I can remember times when my children were younger, they would climb up in my lap, grab my face with both of their hands and say, “Daddy, listen to me.” They wanted to make sure that I heard everything that they had to say. They did not want me to be distracted by the TV, computer, newspaper, magazine or anything else. They wanted my undivided attention.
Listen carefully to everything your children tell you, no matter how big or small. If you don’t listen to the little things when they are little, they won’t tell you the big things when they are big. Because to them it’s always been big.
Even Jesus knew the value of the little child. He said in, Matthew 19:14 “But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them!”
This principle is really true of all people. All people and all things matter. Learn to pay more attention to the ones who matter most in your life. You’ll be glad you did.
“Listen” it will make your life better.
