As you drive to work, school or to run errands, there seem to be many dangers. One danger is the person who drives way too fast and puts everyone around at risk. But there is always the person that drives way too slow, and equally jeopardizes our safety.
We get accustomed to the speed and timing of people who turn corners, pass or rush through intersections. When people go too fast or too slow, it puts everyone around in danger of a collision.
It is just as important for us to be in perfect synchronization with God’s timing. We do not need to go too fast and certainly do not need to go too slow.
The Bible says, the steps of a good man are ordered of the Lord. (Psalm 37:23)
Did you know the “stops” of a righteous man are ordered as well?
There are times, we just need to slow down and there are times we just need to wait, until we hear a clear direction from God.
Don’t move forward and don’t move backward until you hear the unmistakable voice of your Father directing your life. He loves you enough to order your steps and stops today. Trust Him to lead you to paths of blessing, favor and increase.
The word of the day is steps. Your steps are ordered of the Lord. Just wait for God’s direction.
