I recently switched from a PC to a Mac. Even though there are many similarities, there are enough differences that I have to learn and unlearn certain features in order to function. Even just simple things make a big difference. The minimize and exit features are on the left rather than the right. My time and date display are on the top right rather than the bottom right.
It’s like this in life. Life is full of changes and opportunities to learn, relearn or unlearn for the first time.
The challenge that most people have, is the unwillingness to go through the less productive down time of the learning curve, in order to be more productive in the future.
It’s the same challenge that businesses and restaurants have when they renovate. Can they endure the down time of business that temporarily slows or stops, in order to better serve their customers in the future?
Don’t be stuck in an old unproductive rut that keeps you from reaching your potential.
Life is more rewarding when you take on new challenges and keep learning.
The word of the day is learning curve. Every new challenge you face will have a learning curve. Don’t give up or get frustrated. Hang in there and win.
So go for it today. Climb that mountain, conquer that fear and overcome that obstacle. You’ve got this.
Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
