I was in the church foyer the other day. I was asking some kids what they learned in class. One little boy said, “I learned that Jesus died for me.” “That’s right, He did. Very good,” I said. A little three year old girl was nearby and overheard our conversation. She quickly chimed in, “Its okay, He rose from the dead on the third day.”
Isn’t that awesome? I think that she thought I was sad that Jesus had died. I love the honesty of little children.
Easter is all about the resurrection. It is okay. He rose from the dead.
Regardless of what you may be going through today, it is okay, Jesus rose from the dead. He’s alive. And because He lives, I can face tomorrow with the confidence that everything is going to be alright. You can too!
Luke 24:6 “He is not here; he has risen!”
The word of the day is resurrection. If God is able to bring Jesus back from the dead, then He can turn anything around in your life. He can raise from the dead, your dreams, hopes, plans, relationships and anything else that has seemingly died.
