As you read this today, you may be overwhelmed with fears about the future and problems of the past. Remember, yesterday is in the tomb and tomorrow is in the womb. You can’t change the past and you can’t make tomorrow get here any faster. You must learn the secret of contentment.
Philippians 4:11-13 “…I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” (Unstoppable)
When you are content you become unstoppable. Unstoppable is the word of the day.
Fear will stop you.
Worry will stop you.
Doubt will stop you.
Unforgiveness will stop you.
Envy will stop you.
Jealousy will stop you.
Pride will stop you.
Covetousness will stop you.
Strongholds will stop you.
Sin will stop you.
But learn to be content and you can do all things through Christ.
Remember when Shadrach, Meshack and Abednigo were thrown into the fire, for refusing to bow down and worship other gods?
They walked around in the fire, without fear, without stress, because Jesus was with them. When King Nebuchadnezzar saw Jesus in the fire with them, he ordered them to come out of that fire. You may be asking when will God bring you out of your fire? The answer is: When it doesn’t matter to you, whether you are there or not. Because you know that Jesus is with you, regardless, therefore you have found contentment.
Why worry, why fret. Jesus is with you every step that you take. You are unstoppable.
