When I was playing football in Junior High, I remember tackling a guy from behind. I wrapped my arms around his legs and the heel of his two cleats went right into my diaphragm. It knocked the breath out of me. That was many years ago. It didn’t kill me, I’m still alive. Since that time life has thrown me some unexpected curves and there have been times when it has spiritually knocked the breath out of me, but It didn’t kill me I’m still here.
The word of the day is, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.” Isaiah 54:17
If you have lived very long, you know that life is not always fair, bad things, sometimes, happen to good people. Sometimes Christians have financial problems. Sometimes Christians get sick. Sometimes Christians fight personal battles in their marriage or in their minds.
Someone needs to know that It does not matter “what” the enemy is working against you, or “what” your struggling with,
The Bible did not say that satan would not form weapons against you, or that he would not launch them at you, or that they would not touch you.
But what the Bible does say is: It shall not prosper, it shall not accomplish it’s intended purpose.
Maybe you have been knocked down. Maybe life has thrown you an unexpected curve ball. Maybe you suffered a divorce, sickness or a financial disaster. Your child may be on drugs or your company down sized and they let you go. Your dreams of ministry may have been crushed. It could be a thousand different things, but the bottom line is: You didn’t expect it and it hurt. It threw your life into a tail spin. It knocked the breath out of you.
Remember, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.” You will rise above this. Now go have a better day.
