Consistency is the word of the day.
Too many people quit, give up, and throw in the towel before they even give themselves a chance to succeed.
This is true in life, marriage, business, work and school. Consistency is the key to success.
I remember when my son Kolt was learning to play the drums and when my son Dandy was learning to play the guitar. In order to get to the level of excellence that they both play at today, took consistency. It took hours and hours, day after day, week after week and year after year to achieve their skill.
Many people begin the journey to learn a skill, whether it is music, language, eating well or exercise. But more people than not, give up and quit before they accomplish the goal.
In marriage it’s the same way. You have to be consistent in order to build the disciplines that become the foundation for a good marriage.
You must be consistent in your word, your actions and your heart.
Someone once said, “If you are persistent, you can get it, but if you are consistent, you will keep it.
It’s not what you do every now and then that brings success. It’s what you do consistently.
Aristotle said, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
But remember consistency is not perfection. It is simply refusing to give up.
Galatians 6:9 “Don’t grow weary in doing what is right, in due season you will reap a harvest, if you don’t give up.”
It takes 21 days to create a habit, but it takes 90 days to create a lifestyle.
This all adds up to consistency.
Why not start the journey today toward a better life, and REFUSE TO GIVE UP?
