Purpose is the word of the day. I want you to speak this word over your life and family today.
You have purpose. You have a specific, strategic, important purpose for being on this earth. Everyone has a purpose. Everyone has a reason for existing. Everyone. Yes, you.
You may not believe that you have a purpose, or that your purpose matters to anyone. That’s just not true. You may not know what your purpose is. Finding your purpose is a discovery. Don’t rest until you are confident that you have discovered your purpose.
God created you on purpose, with purpose, and for a purpose. So purpose to be who God created you to be.
I remember reading about a man who had decided to drive to the edge of town and jump off the bridge to end his life. But as he waited at a traffic light he looked at an elderly lady standing at the street corner. She smiled at him, he found himself smiling back. Something about that smile made him question himself as to whether or not he would take his life. Instead of driving to the bridge he drove to a counselor’s office and asked for help.
Think about it. It was a simple smile that saved a life.
Maybe your purpose is to smile at everyone you see. It could make the difference to someone.
Without a purpose that is bigger than yourself you are more likely to live only for yourself. So dream big and believe that God has a great purpose for you.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
God has a great purpose for you, your marriage, your business ideas and your entire family. Believe it. Speak it. Live it.
