Check out this inspiring quote from Winston Churchill.
“You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: It is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival.”
Britain was under attack from Germany, They were fighting for their survival. Churchill declared one aim, one goal, only one outcome was acceptable. Victory. Defeat was not an option. Anything less than victory would mean losing everything they had given their lives to build.
Do you have that kind of resolve for the things that matter most to you?
Deuteronomy 20:4 (NIV) says, “For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”
That’s an awesome promise. And so is the next promise below.
Romans 8:31 (MSG) “With God on our side like this, how can we lose?”
Put your trust in God. Don’t depend on your way of thinking. God always knows what is best for you, your family and your life. Let Him fight for you.
The word of the day is victory. You’ve been made a winner through Jesus Christ. Tell yourself that losing is not an option. Look yourself in the mirror and say, “hello” to victory.
