Independence Day of the United States, also referred to as the Fourth of July. Today we commemorate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, by the Continental Congress declaring that the thirteen American colonies regarded themselves as a new nation, the United States of America, and no longer part of the British Empire.
I love America. I love this country. I love the opportunities that we have in this great land.
America is great and while we have made amazing strides and experienced incredible accomplishments, there are a few decisions that have and are sending us on a downward spiral. If we don’t turn it around, America will self-destruct.
1962- U.S. Supreme Court declared that prayer in school was unconstitutional.
1963- The Courts stopped schools from allowing Bible reading in classes.
1973- U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion. Since that time over 50 million babies have been murdered in our country.
1980- U.S. Supreme Court declared that posting the Ten Commandments in a classroom violated the Constitution of the U.S.
2015- U.S. Supreme Court expanded and redefined marriage to include same sex partners. A drastic deviation from God’s Word.
History shows us that when societies become corrupt, they begin to come apart and crumble.
What is My Hope for America? A REVIVAL REVOLUTION.
Psalm 69:32 “You who seek God, let your hearts revive.”
Is there anybody who is seeking after God?
Anybody going after God?
A God chaser?
Hungry for more of God?
Tired of status quo?
Tired of just going through the motions?
My hope for America is that God will revive the hearts of all the God seekers. Is that you?
If He did it once, He can do it again.
Happy Birthday America,
Kendall Bridges
