“Believe, He is my Everything”

I had the privilege of visiting the “Home of the Sick and Dying” in Calcutta, India. This is where Mother Teresa ministered for many years. Her example of servanthood and sacrifice is an example to us all.

But the question has to be asked. Where does someone get the motivation, direction and courage to minister to the sick and dying, the outcast of society, the downtrodden, the hurting and desperate?

Maybe the answer is found in this quote from Mother Teresa.

“There are so many religions and each one has its different ways of following God. I follow Christ:
Jesus is my God,
Jesus is my Spouse,
Jesus is my Life,
Jesus is my only Love,
Jesus is my All in All;
Jesus is my Everything.” (Mother Teresa)

Remember today, that regardless of the circumstance that you may be facing today, Jesus is your everything.
