A second grade boy was bumped while getting on the school bus and suffered a two-inch cut on his cheek. At recess, he collided with another boy and lost two teeth. Later, while swinging on the monkey bars, he fell and broke his wrist. As he waited at the hospital, his father noticed he was clutching a quarter in his good hand. He said to his father, “I found it on the ground when I fell. This is the first quarter I’ve ever found. This sure is my lucky day.”
Every day you have the ability to find the good or the bad, the positive or the negative in life.
Choose to find the good. This is your lucky day. Although, I don’t necessarily believe in luck, I believe in the divine favor of God. I think you get my point.
Philippians 4:8 (ESV) “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
The word of the day is lucky day. Think on things that are good and the favor of God will find you.
