There are a few things that bug me.
- Advertisements before YouTube video. Skip-ad? Yes please, every time.
- Weak hand-shakes. That’s just creepy.
- Bone crushing hand-shakes. That’s just way too much. C’mon man! And if you are a woman, that’s just wrong.
- Tangled earbuds- How do they get so tangled, just because I put them in my pocket?
- People that bow-up at you for trying to read the message on their t-shirt. Why are you wearing it, if you don’t want people to read it?
- Bad Elvis impersonators- If you’re going to impersonate Elvis, you need to do it well.
But please don’t get me wrong, I don’t let any of these things steal my joy. But I have come to understand that life is full of things that can steal your joy if you are not careful.
The word of the day is beware!
Beware of things that can steal your joy, rob your focus, delay your destiny and undermine your purpose.
Luke 12:15 Then He said to them, “Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions.”
I want you to realize that you have a divine purpose, an assignment from God and because of that, you will be a target for the enemy, because of the greatness that is in you. So beware. But always remember that greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.
