Have you ever felt like your prayers didn’t really matter? Have you ever felt like what’s the use? You’ve been praying for something for so long and still no results. So why bother? Why keep on praying, when you only end up being disappointed in God and in yourself?
I recently spoke with someone who shared this frustration with me. Believe me, I’m pretty sure we have all felt this way at one time or another.
My advice was this. If you have been praying for a mountain to move in your life and it seems like, it’s not budging, don’t get discouraged. If God knows you need that mountain moved, in order to fulfill His purpose for your life, then that mountain will move. If not, it’s only because God sees something that you don’t see and He has something better planned for you.
Hebrews 11: 39-40 “All these people earned a good reputation because of their faith, yet none of them received all that God had promised. 40 For God had something better in mind for us…”
Hey! God loves you more than you realize. He will only hold back answering the way you think He ought to, if He has something better in store for you.
The word of the day is “keep on.”
Keep on praying. Keep on believing. Keep on trusting.
Keep on holding on when everything is going wrong. God’s not finished.
