Have you ever had someone try to tell you how to raise your children, when they don’t have any children of their own?
Have you ever known a single person to tell a married person how marriage is supposed to work?
I’ve known many “church growth experts” who seem to have all the answers for church growth, yet they have never actually done it themselves. Interesting huh?
There always seems to be someone who oversteps their boundaries.
Boundaries are important for many reasons.
A fire needs boundaries. A river needs boundaries. Without the proper boundaries both water and fire can become destructive. The same is true in our own lives. Without proper boundaries we can become destructive to ourselves.
Jesus gave some boundaries to His disciples.
Matthew 10:5-6 These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. 6 Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel.
The word of the day is boundaries. Know your boundaries and you will have much more success in every area of life.
Establish and live by boundaries in your personal life, your marriage and family, and your business life. Boundaries will protect you not prevent you. Boundaries will enable you not hinder you. Boundaries will free you not limit you.
Know your boundaries.
