Find your “Sweet Spot!”

sweet spotThere are different ways to get things done.

Starla and I do many things differently. It doesn’t necessarily mean one way is right and the other is wrong, but it does prove that there are different ways to get things done. We don’t squeeze our toothpaste the same way. We don’t fold clothes the same way. We don’t roll up the cord on the hair dryer the same way. Now, I know what some of you are thinking. You’re thinking Starla’s way is probably right, and you could make a good argument. However, I’m still getting it done. So for the sake of my point, there are still many ways to get things done.

Now, I will admit that there are some things that can only be done one way. Southern fried chicken, chicken fried steak, sweet tea and Jesus, there’s only one way.

Look at what the Bible says about different ways and different plans.

Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.

Ultimately God is going to prevail. So you might as well surrender to His plan and avoid the frustration of trying to do it your way.

The “sweet spot” of life is aligning your plans and desires with God’s plans. Another way of saying this is simply, discovering what God’s plan for your life really is. Find the “sweet spot” of life and enjoy all that God has planned for you.

The word of the day is “sweet spot.”
