Have you ever seen a mirror or a car window deflect the sun? Have you ever been blinded on the road by the deflection?
Have you noticed the sun shields that people place in their car windows? They are designed to deflect the rays of the sun to keep the heat from the car.
You have the same power and ability when negativity comes your way.
The Bible says in Deuteronomy 28:7 “The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.”
That’s called deflection.
The word of the day is deflect.
You will always have people who have been designed by the enemy to take you down a notch.
But remember the words of the old spiritual hymn that says, “Haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, so shake it off, shake it off.”
There will always be haters, players, losers and spoilers. But don’t let any of them steal your joy.
When my kids, were school age, I would tell them every day before they went to school. “Be good, be kind, be careful, study hard, be a man of God (or woman of God) and don’t let anyone steal your joy.”
At some point in your life you have to decide to deflect negativity and attacks by the enemy and rise above your haters and refuse to let anyone steal your joy.
Remember, you’re better than that.
Make your life better, one deflection at a time.
