Did you know that a Great Mom makes a Better Marriage?
It’s Mother’s Day. This is one of the most special days of the year. There is no one who makes more sacrifices for their family than a mother. Proverbs 31:28 says, “Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.”
So, I would like to rise and call the Mothers in my family and all the Mothers reading this, blessed. I would like to shower a little praise on you amazing women today. I am so thankful for my mother, my wife and my daughter and daughter in laws, who have all experienced, this wonder of the world called, motherhood. You are incredibly awesome.
It is the Mother who tenderly carries her child for nine months and then bears excruciating pain to bring you into the world. (Just remember she brought you in and she can take you out.)
She gets up early and stay up late and holds that sick baby through the night and comforts and cares like no one else. It’s the Mom who can interpret the cries and understand the gibberish and even the silent treatment of her children. She remembers her children’s fears, dreams, wishes and unique personalities. She pays attention to all the little things that really make a difference in her children’s life. She doesn’t miss a thing. She is patient, sensitive, discerning, caring, enduring, loving, kind and hopeful. She is a one of a kind.
There is no one like you. You are the secret spice, the beautiful fragrance and the unmatched aroma of your home. You are what makes each home a refuge and a place of peace. Mom, we honor you on this special day. This day is only special because you are special. You have made this day and every day special.
Happy Mother’s Day!
