If you want to stand out from the rest of the pack in any area of life, then give it your best, whatever you are doing.
Most everyone can remember, or at last has heard of Michael Jordan playing in the 1997 NBA finals with flu-like symptoms and still scored 38 points. In similar fashion, 20 years earlier, Walter Payton set the single game rushing record in the NFL (275 yards) while battling the flu.
Winners find ways to win, regardless of how they feel. Losers find ways to lose, regardless of how the feel.
There is always an excuse to pull back and take it easy. You may be tired. You may be sick. You may be busy, preoccupied or stressed. You may not have the support you need.
But look at what the Bible says…
Colossians 3:23 “Whatever your task is, put your whole heart and soul into it, as work done for the Lord, and not merely for men.”
I challenge you today, to give it your best at work, at home or in your own personal life.
The word of the day is “Give it your best.”
Give it your best today!
