When our children were all school age, I would fix breakfast for them in the morning before I dropped them off at school. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t have any culinary skills. But I can scramble eggs. That’s not too difficult. The only problem is, that I made scrambled eggs every morning until all my children began to hate eggs. (Sorry about that!)
There are some things that you need to do on a daily basis.
You need to pray, read your Bible, be kind, affirm and encourage others, oh yeah, and take a shower!!!!
But there are some things that you don’t need to do every single day of your life, like make your kids eat scrambled eggs.
Take a look at your life, your family, your goals, and your dreams. What things are you doing that have the most impact on your dreams? What things are you doing that have the least impact?
Focus on what is making the bigger difference for you. Keep doing those things. Eliminate the “scrambled eggs.” I don’t want you to hate life.
When you do the right things over and over, you will get the right results over and over. The word of the day is repetition. Do the right things today and every day. Make them priorities in your life.
Colossians 1:10 “Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.”
